Plumbing & HVAC:

Harold Brothers Mechanical is currently performing the Plumbing and HVAC trades for the brand new 330,000 square foot, 7 story core and shell lab building located off of route 95 in Lexington. The mechanical penthouse was outfitted with (3) 850-ton cooling towers, (2) 1,200-ton chillers, (4) 80,000 cfm air handling units and (2) 160,000 cfm exhaust air handlers along with a Konvekta energy recovery system. Various hydronic systems are distributed throughout the building through (27) pumps and heated with (5) 6,000 MBH boilers. The first-floor amenity space is outfitted with kitchen exhaust, as well as fan coil units and VAVs to satisfy air changes in the space. The plumbing consists of core-shell infrastructure to support future lab space including core bathrooms, storm and overflow drains, Potable, Non-Potable and Tempered water risers with future connections, lab waste & vent stacks, sanitary waste and vent stacks, as well as low and medium pressure natural gas systems. In addition, there are storm and garage waste drainage systems for the 32,000 sq ft parking garage adjacent to the building.
