Harold Brothers provided full HVAC services for the new 112,000-sq-ft, state-of-the-art Tyngsborough Middle School. Working alongside Fontaine Bros. and JCJ Architects, our team installed a high-efficiency Daikin VRF system featuring 162 indoor fan coil units, 17 branch control boxes, 12 split systems, and 34 rooftop condensers. Eight roof-mounted Daikin Applied dedicated outside air units supply fresh air throughout the building, complemented by a complete kitchen exhaust and makeup air system, destratification fans in the gym, electric unit heaters, and a dust-collection system for the woodworking classroom.

Tyngsborough Middle School is a ground-up, 112,000 sq ft state-of-the-art middle
school designed by IMEG and managed by Fontaine Bros. Harold Bros installed a
complete building VRF system with 162 indoor ducted and cassette style Daikin VRF
fan coil units, 17 branch control boxes, 12 split systems, and 34 rooftop condensers.
Fresh air enters the building via 8 roof-mounted Daikin Applied dedicated outside
air handlers. A full kitchen exhaust system equipped with a 4,800 cfm make up unit
and kitchen exhaust with grease duct controls the air entering and exiting the
kitchen. Supplemental HVAC includes electric unit heaters, destratification fans in
the gym as well as a dust collection system for the woodworking classroom.
